Inspiring people of all ages to become involved in aviation is a primary mission of Auburn Aviation Association.  In 2023 we've teamed with EAA Chapter 526, Mach 5 Aviation and the Ellsworth Hovey Getchell Foundation to offer 8 Flight Scholarships. Our mentoring and interview training programs cover essential items like what to wear, how to make eye contact, shake hands properly and send a thank you note.  You will meet pilots and mentors from the airlines, military, CHP, CALFIRE, Bush flying and local colleges. Attendees from this program have achieved jobs at Regional/ Major Airlines, Corporate Flight Departments and CFI Flight Instructor positions at airports throughout the country. One attendee earned a pilot slot in the USAFR KC-135 Squadron at Beale AFB and another was hired by RAVN in Alaska as a mechanic. He is now serving as a pilot with Bering Air.

There will be a raffle with prizes to include AAA SWAG and online Pilot Training Ground Schools.

Discover more about exciting career opportunities in aviation. Meet educators and pilot mentors from numerous career fields. Join us at Noon on a Saturday  January 27 , 2024.
