The Auburn Aviation Association (AAA) and Auburn Chapter 526 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) are offering scholarship opportunities to individuals in the greater Auburn area.
Six Scholarships Available Now:
EAA Air Academy 2021:
Two applicants who will be age 16 to 18 as of July 20, 2021, will each receive full tuition ($1605) to attend a one-week session of the EAA Advanced Air Academy during July 2021. This summer camp is held at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, during EAA AirVenture, the world’s largest aviation event. Air fare to/from either Green Bay or Appleton will be the responsibility of the student and his/her family. In a case of hardship, Chapter 526 will consider a request for financial aid for transportation. Chapter 526 has secured reservations for two slots: one for July 20-28, and the other for July 30 – August 7.

$2500 Flight Scholarships:
Four applicants who will be age 16 to 23 as of December 31, 2021, will receive pilot training at KAUN, to a maximum value of $2500 each. Online ground school is included with these awards courtesy of Flight Apprentice LLC.
